Aura™ Biosciences is applying its platform technology in the area of Oncology

Aura Biosciences is developing a new generation of nano-selective drugs designed to improve the efficacy and reduce the toxicity of oncology treatments. Nanosphere particles (NSPs) will encapsulate the drug and use its universal tumor-specific marker to target it to cancerous cells including metastases. Additionally, this is followed by precise release within the cytoplasm and delivery towards the nucleus of the tumor cell. This highly specific targeting and nuclear delivery will provide better results with fewer side effects, allowing many more patients to benefit from these important therapies.
